how much do lingual braces cost?

Braces????
mine will cost about $ 5500 by the time I get them paid for. All my xrays were included as will my retainer and my six month check up after I get them off. All follow up care will be $75 after the final check up.

Reply:all braces cost a similiar amount. Theyare often, you get waht you pay for kind of things. A more expensive office 5-6 K may be that you are paying for the look of the office, a no wait treatment schedule, donuts and cappacino in the lounge. Most general dentists are in the 3,500 to 4,000range. Things to ask- are the retainers included? If you need Xrays during treatment is that included,Are broken appliances charged for? What are the records fee? Sometimes the cheaper guy ends up costing you more beecause they piece out each part and hit you at different times with different fees. Lingual just means they will be inside your mouth, Pain in the butt if you ask me. They break easier, are harder to clean, make your mouth water, and mess up your speech. I would go for the ones on the outside. They are easier to clean, less chance of decay, you finish faster if your healthier, with todays wires, youcan literally be doen in 12 months. If your broke all the time in the lingual you'll lenghten your treatment time.
