Braces...?????????????????????...

the day of my school dance is the day i get braces - braces @ 3:00 school dance at 4:00 i can still make the dance and evrything, i also really want to- i'm just afraid people might make fun of me the classic " brace Face". I don't want to be made fun of at my first dance. did i mention that day is also my birthday? what should i do?

Reply:soo many kids have braces that it isnt even weird to have braces anymore... so not a chance would he call you braceface because then he would be dissing like half of the school Report It

Reply:If you need them, get them. The sooner you get them the sooner you can take them off. By that time you will have forgotten most of the people who make fun of you. Not that many do, because enough people get braces so that its not much of a stigma. I had braces and dont remember one comment made to my face. and if people are going to talk about you behind your back, they will do it even if you didn't have braces.





But if you can delay it for a few days so you can go to the dance in peace, there shouldn't be any harm to that.
Reply:You will have beautiful teeth when they are ready to come off, and just think that if you are at your school dance then everyone will be busy looking at what everyone else is wearing rather than your braces.


Although it will also give you something to talk about and other people to talk about if they do notice! Braces are cool, and at least you are doing something about your teeth!

Reply:Though it may seem like people do that still, no one actually does, or else they are very mean. So many kids have braces these days, its almost normal. Almost every one of my friends have braces, and we are alll in high school. So don't worry about it. Have fun at the dance!

Even tho you're going to have braces, dont mean you cant work it and it doesnt mean you wont look good in clothes. Just go to the dance and who cares if they make fun of you...isnt everyone gonna eventually find out you have braces anyways?...just let them know you have braces...so what? It doesn't make you a geek and tehn after you get them taken off....look at the results! Goreous smile :D
Reply:don't be afraid if are calling you brace face then there not your friends and i have them to and i go to dance class and people were calling me names and guess what a lot of boy liked me and i got a boyfriend.
Reply:they will def. not call you brace face...everyone has it...but i do suggest though if you have glasses dont wear them...the braces and glasses combo will never be in style...unless you are on ugly betty. I got my braces on my birthday too, but dont be afraid to smile...get a cute color and show those white pearls...
Reply:Go to the dance!Most people have braces they won't tease you I'm for sure and even if in the slightest chance someone does don't get mad, you won't have braces forever and when they are off you will have a perfect smile! :)
