ok i want to try lingual braces. here's my situation -
-moderate crowding on bottom
-impacted tooth on top
- needing 3 extractions (baby teeth, permenant teeth never developed in 2 places. they two teeth on my right. right next to my front teeth)
-we are going to reshape the impacted tooth so it takes the spot of the 2 baby teeth
- the other tooth needing extracted has the perminent tooth coming in over it
- i have minor sissor bite
- and a severe overbite. (you can't see my bottom teeth) but my teeth don't go over my lips.
will the braces that are put on the inside of your teeth (instead of the outside i.e. you can't see them really) be right for me?
and they aren't invisible, they are metal braces and yeah..
Braces......?
no~~~~~
Reply:you should ask your dental associates
%26amp;%26amp; i dont think you should but in not for sure so.. *good luck
Reply:i have the same tooth problem as you...im missing the 2 teeth next to my front teeth and i had a terrible overbite.
i first got braces. they opened up the 2 spaces where the two teeth should be. they put me on headgear....(i only wore it when i was sleeping). finally after all my teeth were straight, i had surgery and i have 2 fake teeth that look completely real! the surgery is called an "implant" I reccomend that you get it, my teeth look great, no one even knows that they are fake! :) good luck
