Braces!!!!?

my bracket is slighty moving because i think it came off when i was chewing on one of my pens. It moves so that if i try to move it, it would slide on the wire.This happened a while back but do you know if my teeth with start going crooked again? should i tell my ortho or wait until the next appointment = november 27th. Right now i just have the front 8 brackets and my ortho sayed that she will be applying the rest of the braces, do you know if she will have to relace the whole brace or what?

i popped a bracket off. my dad called and i went in to have it put back on like the next day, but all they do is put it back on pretty easily- she wont replace all your braces or anything. you should call or have your parents call and they might say go in and they might say wait till the 27th. no your teeth will not become crooked by the 27th, once they put the bracket back on everything will be fine. if i were you i would lie and say it popped off recently so they wont be disappointed that you waited to call.


edit: teresa says take the bracket off- i definitly wouldnt if i were you. that will retard the appointment (i like using the word 'retard' with its real meaning 'to slow' in sentences because it makes them much less boring and actually slightly amusing. lol. leave the bracket on, then they wont have to go putting it back on the wire at your appointment
Reply:She'll probably just stick that one bracket back on. I wouldn't worry too much, but give a call and see if they can move your appointment up or fix you real quick before your scheduled appointment.





If you can get the little rubber band off, the little metal square will come off the wire.
Reply:i had this happen a little while ag o and i called them that day and made anothr appointment. They just cleaned where that bracet was and then glued it back on. They didn't have to take n e other brackets of or n e thing, took about 3 mins. I would definately recomend going to your dentist straight away, otherwise it will slow down progress, best of luk
Reply:Hey! i would tell your ortho you never know your braces just might fall off. i have braces one of mine was like that and the ortho just fixed that one so yeah i would tell your ortho
