Braces....?

i'm getting braces and the orthodontist suggested titanium, sapphire braces. (i'm allergic to silver and gold) so my question was - does these kind braces get stained? but the brackets are white not clear...

the wires are interchangeable, so i would just let your orthodontist pick.





The wires don't stain, nor do the brackets, but there are little rubber bands which hold the wire to the brackets which can get stained if you have foods like curry. Luckily they get replaced at each review.
Reply:I am allergic to silver and gold too so my orthodontist gave me stainless steel ones. They didn't stain but the brackets were a silvery color. They are also cheaper than the titanium ones, I would ask for the stainless steels.
