Braces...???

I really really want braces before I'm outta my teens (I'm 15) but my rents say they can't afford them. We checked it out and we were quoted AU$3,900 for 12-15 months (which is how long I'd need them aparently). I'm looking for a job now and when I get one I'm happy to use my pay towards it but I cant get thousands straight away. How can I convince my parents to get the money, or how can I get them?

First, you should check out different places to see which is


cheaper with still a good service.





And then, if you can't convince your parents, you could pay


it in payments. You could pay a couple hundred dollars a


month or so.





If you still don't have enough, you could always try telling


your parents that you'll pay a certain amount each time and


they could just pay another certain amount to complete


the payment's minimum pay.

Reply:most places have payment plans that you can set up, ask you dentist about it, and go somewhere else if he doesn't do payments...
Reply:is your teeth really that bad that you need braces? if they're not too bad just a few kinks you wanna get out, you could try getting a plate/retainer instead. they're much cheaper than braces. i'm envious that you only need them for about a year..i had mine for two years and 3 months. and now i hav retainers to keep my teeth in place until they settle.
