Braces!!!!?

i have to get braces and i really dont what them!! what r the best colors to get were there less see able?? and how do u kiss with braces??

the best coler is probably silver or clear but u relly shouldnt worry cuz alot of people have braces so people dont have a prob with it any more and about kissing most of the time the other person dosent even noties them so its not a big deal

Reply:Clear, but you have to brush like ALL the time (which isn't a bad thing, but they will get yellow is the reason I say that) and you kiss just the same as w/o them.
Reply:You should check into Invisaline, they're nearly invisible. Also, kissing is the same for the most part. You don't kiss with your teeth do you?
Reply:the best color i use to make my braces less noticeable is gray/silver...kissing is the same, just not so rough.

Reply:The first thing to beaware of is the fact that braces take time. The wires shift and rotate the teeth slowly because, if done too fast, your teeth become loose in the process and if the move is not gradual, the bone around your teeth will not grow properly, and your teeth might stay loose, or even fall out. This is not something that should be rushed. Be patient, it's worth it!





One thing I would like to suggest for when the brackets bother your lips and mucosa, ask your orthodontist for some dental wax to cover the brackets so they won't irrate your oral tissue.





The second thing to remember is, the advice your dental team gives you should be followed to the letter. They are not trying to create work for, they want to make sure you get the best results. If they tell you not to chew gum or raw carrots, don't. If they tell you to brush and floss twice a day, do it! There is nothing more frustrating for a dental team than having a client come in for a six month check up and having all the hard work and years of treatment go down the drain because the client couldn't be bothered to follow instructions.





Having said that, the MOST IMPORTANT thing to know is... WEAR YOUR RETAINER!!!! You're parents are spending a small fortune on your mouth, usually the cost of a good used car! If you have braces for a year or two, there is nothing better than the feeling of showing the world your smile after they have been removed, and a retainer, you might think, is just a another pain in your butt. IF YOU DON'T WEAR YOUR RETAINER, ALL THAT TIME IN BRACES WILL HAVE BEEN FOR NOTHING!!! Your teeth WILL MOVE BACK and LOOK THE WAY THEY DID BEFORE BRACES!!!





Please, follow your dental team's instructions! I am a dental assistant, I know how it feels to have this happen to a client. All the pain and time in braces will be for nothing if you don't follow instructions!
Reply:sweety dont worry. i know it my not be very confortable at the beginning and you may feel a little embarested but if you choose a nice colour that maybe matches with your eye colour or your hair colour it will look very pretty.


and also braces make your face look thinner.
Reply:Kiss very carefully. I have them now, and my wife and I have no problems kissing, but we have to be gentler so that I don't cut up the inside of my mouth. (ouch.)





As for colors... honestly in all my experience with braces, you can't hide them or make them any less visible with colors. Colors just make them more visible. Try white bands though, they might hide the braces a little bit, if you get to pick a color. Like I do not have rubber bands in my braces now, the arch wires are held to the brackets with wire (it makes the braces work faster).

Reply:every single color you get pretty much looks the same. i had them for two years and i got pink and purple like every time. and you can still kiss with braces its no big deal. you dont kiss with your teeth so there should be no problem.
Reply:i just suggest you do not get a dark purple or dark blue it makes it so you look like you have chocolate in your teeth and the clear stains easally its practicly impossible to hide them i suggest light pink yellow or silver
Reply:If you don't want them to be noticeable get silver. because obviously they match with the metal, even light pink BUT seriously its no big deal I actually had fun when I had braces and got brave haha i statred wearing different colors which IM TELLING YOU it isnt a big deal you'll get over it.





Kissing... you exactly the same as without just obviously don't get crazy rough you might feel some pain... I forgot i had braces after a few months.
