Braces ...?

I got braces about 6 months ago ( didnt need them that badly but i want my teeth to look perfect so i went for it ahah ) so far from the amount of time they've been on they've really improved and look great from what i can see. People tell me i can really pull them off .. like still look good and all with having them on.. but i seem to think the complete opposite. im sooo self - conscious about them. i used to be known for my huge smile and uncontrollable laugh haha but since this year i havent been like that. Are braces really that big of a turn off to people .. especially guys who dont have them? cuz thats exactly what i think.

I think braces on people are cute. At least they care about their smile and take the time to make sure they get a nice smile. People who have them are patient and that's a good thing. At the moment, they may not look so appealing, but within time, people won't be able to take their eyes off your smile. It's at the end that counts. =)
Reply:Braces are not a turn off. The only turn off is if you have to wear head gear to school. I am a guy and my wife had them in Middle School and we still liked eachother.

But because they're so popular now just about everyone at my school has them so yea.


Don't worry about it, just remember that they'll be coming off after a while and you'll be able to show off your lovely huge smile again :) only this time it'll be even better!

Reply:Most people have to wear them at some point in their life.... you are only giving up a year or 2 to wear them, but then you're teeth will look great after! Who cares if it is a turn off, what are you 13, I wouldn't worry about it. You've got lots of time to worry about that. If they don't like you wearing braces, then they aren't good guys anyway. They shouldn't care about that part of you, they should like you for who you are!
Reply:braces are damn sexy, people with braces are HOTT. i had braces, they're cool, i loved them. dont worry; people dont care if you have braces, and if they do, they're just shallow losers.
Reply:Well I am slightly offended. I so happen to have braces. But theyre not a turn off almost all of my friends have them or have had them. Dont worry about guys and what they think....if they dont like you because of braces then they are dumb and your gonna look awesome when they come off. And dont pull them off either. be grateful theyre like 4,000 dollars.
