Braces.................?

Im 14 and due to have my braces off next month, has anyone had braces? If so does it hurt having them taken of?

i just had my braces off a few months ago but it didn't hurt there's a little pressure on your teeth but it's not painful...then they uses a special drill like thing to get off the excess glue and that doesn't hurt either....if you're worried about it hurting then just take some tylenol or ibuprofen before you go...

Reply:It's not that bad. Not nearly as bad as having them put on. The only thing is because your tongue has been running across that rough surface, when your braces come off, it makes your teeth feel slippery.
Reply:No it doesn't hurt at all, you'll just feel some pressure when the dentist is pulling them off, the strangest sensation is when there taken off....its hard to describe, it doesn't hurt, its just all that pressure is suddenly gone....

Reply:nah not really ,, just a slight pull when they pull the brackets off , but other than that its the best feeling in the world see brand new straight teeth!
Reply:Great, you have done your time.You will fell a bit pressure and the orthodontist will remove the glue afterwards. It will feel strange afterwards as your teeth feel smooth, but believe me you will grin the whole time
Reply:Nopeit doesn'thurt at all, maybe some discomfort and some tingling feelings, when you have them off, you may feel a bit weird, since youre not used to it. Congrats

Reply:I think it hurt worse then having them put on but in the end your pretty smile is worth it. Just be brave it only last for a few minutes.
Reply:Yeah, I just got my braces off, and it does not hurt. When I first got braces I was worried that it would but it doesn't and you need not worry. It just tastes gross and smells like burning rubber and hair when they grind the glue off. But no pain just beauty
