Braces?????

I'm 15 1/2 and I might get braces, I will probably have to wear them for 18 months to 2 years maybe less. Idk if I should get them I want pretty teeth but it would suck to have them? Do ceremic braces stain?

I'm the same age as you and I have braces. You should get them. It hurts at first,but it will pay off. I just got braces last week and it was painful. If you are getting braces, make sure you take pain killers before you get it other wise it will hurt. The first week your teeth will be in pain and you'll only be able to eat soup. I'm not sure if ceramic braces stain though.
Reply:Yes, they tend to stain quite easily depending on what you eat and drink. Anything with high pigment like red sauce, mustard, ketchup, kool-aid, coffee, a lot of dark soda. Stuff like that will stain your braces. you have to make sure that you brush often to get the pigment off of the ceramic and also the longer you have your braces on the more likely the staining will be noticeable.
