Braces????

what do guys think of girls with braces???


im still in middle school just to tell you


do guys just think nothing of them but notice them, totally ignore them completely, or thinks you are weird.





or do they just think you are ugly the first few days you get them then they just get used to them and ignore them





i ask this because i am getting braces really soon and i like this guy who im not sure if he likes me back or not but do you think braces will hurt my chances???

If he is worth his weight in salt he will except you with braces, if he is a superficial person, he wont, in which case you wouldn't want him anyway! Most chicks look cool with braces, some are too apparent and draw attention! Try clear/white braces and stay away from colors or shinny materials!
Reply:People should like you for the person you are; braces shouldn't make any difference.


Think about the beautiful smile you'll have when you're done wearing them, also. You might only need to wear them for a couple years, but you'll have that smile for the rest of your life.


You should feel lucky-- I wish my parents could have afforded braces for me when I was younger.
Reply:I've noticed people with braces with MUCh better chances at anything than me. They might be a little off-ed by it though. I would assume so. I got mine off and it looks great and I think people find me slightly more.. better. You're in middle school, still, so you have a lot of time to wait till they get off. Don't get discouraged though, just.. well. I'm sure many guys will ignore them though. In fact, there's this couple here and they goo all over each other constantly. It's extremely rude considering how it doesn't help my situation, but eh. I think SHE has braces, but I'm not entirely sure because he mouth is always attached to that dude's face.

Reply:Well first, you are in middle school. It is very doubtful anything serious will come of a relationship. Secondly, people noticing you have braces depends on how your mouth is 'designed'. I had braces and no one ever noticed them because my lips and mouth worked well to hide them. If they show a lot people might just say that, "That girl has braces." Either way i wouldn't worry too much. Just think about how good your teeth will look after to get them off.
Reply:Everybody has a different opinion on that all guys like different things. I personally would never have a problem, as I have dated girls with braces and it made no difference. You just have to be careful. If he has them too, you too might get stuck together if your kisses are too hot! lol
Reply:people will get used to it after a short period of time, so don't worry. after all, when you will take your braces off you will have the best smile ever...you are not in the age to worry too much about guys...

Reply:If he doesnt like you with them on then move on but it's good to get them done so early in age so when you do really start dating perhaps in highschool by then you should almost have them out.
Reply:hmmm.... advice from a high school guy.... not unless they are extremely shallow will they notice.... if they do it will only be for the first maybe week, then after a while they will forget, for example when my friend-girl (not a girl friend, but a female friend) got her braces off, i nor no one else, noticed, till she pointed it out
Reply:I think girls are cute with braces in some cases, if they are pretty to begin with that is, but it's not an off or on for me. If iI had to pick one it would prolly be an On believe it or not.
Reply:oh gosh i freaking hate braces. Theyre going to hurt a lot. I got them this june and i still have them and i'm a freshman in high school. you're in one hell of a ride of pain for the first few days. anyways, i dont think it will hurt your chances very much because a lot of girls that age still have braces. you're not going to be the only one so if this guy doesnt like braces he hasnt much girls to choose.

Reply:I've had them for 3 years 9 (I'm in grade 9). I've had 2 Girlfriends, and many more dates.. Kissing, admittedly can be...different, but, you know, my Girlfriend doesn't mind, but we both have braces.. lol. My girl friend is HOT, if I many say so my self, so no, it doesn't hurt ur chances!

Reply:No it won't, that is unless he is very judge mental, if he is then your screwed. But if he thinks more of your braces then of you then he's not worth it. The most important thing to do is to ignore your braces, if you ignore them then everybody else will ignore them too.





Trust me I've had braces for two years and their no big deal!
