can you get clear traintrack braces and what colour is least noticeble???

I cant remember exactly what my daughters were called but she got these plastic bands around her braces monthly and she would keep getten them in various colors.

One color that is less noticable is silver. You can get invisalign but they are more expensive and I heard can't fix everything (overbites.) Good luck with your braces!

Reply:Yes, you can get clear (transparent) braces, which would obviously be less noticeable than the standard metal, however my understanding is they are not as strong. The transparent brackets can also discolour and stain over time due to dyes in food and beverages.





Aside from transparent brackets, you can also get coloured elastics, and even the arch wires. Your orthodontist will advise what options are available to you, but since most people will know you have braces (be they metal or transparent), why not have fun with it using coloured elastics to match your mood, the season, holidays, etc. :)





If you REALLY want something discrete, there are invisible brace options available such as iBraces, Invisalign, ClearStep, etc. These are more expensive, and may not be an option if your teeth require drastic movement - just do a quick Internet search on these for more info.





I wish these were available when I had braces!

Reply:they get SO dirty. if you go with regular braces..just get silver elastics. they are fine. i am 16
