Braces....?
I had mine for 4 years! Torture but definitely worth it.
Reply:i had them for a year and a half
Reply:i have braces.. itll prolli take me about 2.5 years. ... umm.. ive heard of 6 months. but for that.. i think ur just gonna get a retainer
Reply:I think i had them for 3 yrs,

you will have to talk to you orthodontist about that.
Reply:no. the orthodontist will make you keep the braces for at least a year. if not more.
Reply:I had them for three and a half years.

Yes, it is possible to only have them for a few months
Reply:I had them for a year.

There might only be one crooked tooth but if there isn't enough room to make it stright they have to move all the teeth to make room. So even with one crooked one you still might have them on for atleast a year. sorry = (
Reply:I had mine for 5 years. I had very crooked teeth, also buck teeth. A cousin of mine only wore hers for about 1 yr.
Reply:uhhh

depends on your orthodontist really and how "leanient" your teeth are

if they move easily then it wont b long but if theyre like mine youll have em on for way more than your suppossed to... i was only suppossed to have em on for 2 yrs and here i am on 3 and a half
Reply:It depend on how much pushing the teeth need. The shortest I have seen was 9 months. The longest was 2 years. It goes by fast and it's not that bad.The trick to getting them off faster is do everything the dentist tells you and don't break those things he tells you not to break. My daughter never did and hers were off faster. My son kept breaking his and he got 2 years.Good Luck!
Reply:I just got mine 2 weeks ago i got them for like 2 years. You may not need as much time snce you only have one crucked tooth.
Reply:I just got my Braces 2 Months ago I have to have them for to Years.Anyway..Ask your Orthadontist Good Luck!
Reply:Despite the amount of teeth you feel need to be fixed, your orthodontist will surely say that she wants to fix your bite perhaps, and this and that. In other words, orthodontists have higher standards, and where you think your teeth are fine, your orthodontist might still want to make some changes.

I'm talking from experience, seeing as I went to an orthodontist in hopes of fixing just one tooth, and ended up having a biteplate for a few months, and am now wearing braces, which I should be wearing for a year.
Reply:I have braces now, I got them on in December and get them off this december. I will have had them a year.
Reply:I have Invisalign braces, and they SUCK!!! They wre supposed to take 10 months, but it's been 2 years and they still aren't done. Their customer service is horrible, and they don't care about you once they have your money. They keep messing up the retainers and then taking months and months to send new ones. Stick with conventional braces. If you are an adult, your orthodontist will go as fast as you can handle. You can get your wires tightened every week or so if you can take the pain.
