Braces...?

Under insurance, how long does it take to arrange to get braces because I'm 17 and my insurance can only cover me up to 18 years of age. I turn 18 in July and so i will only be getting top braces. And the orthodontist is saying that it will take a couple of months to plan. Is that true?

From the time I decided to get them and went to the orthodontist to the time I got them on was only about 2 weeks, and that was so the payments could be arranged.

i went in for an exam


and they set it up for me to get spacers the next week


and then te next week i got braces





so it doesnt take long at all
Reply:The very day I went into the office, I was looked over and I was ready to have the spacers put in that day. To get braces, you have to have a appointment with your regulart dentist to have a check-up.





If it checks out, you're pretty much set to get the spacers and get your plan down.
